Every so often a FatCat owner does something that makes us grin. Back in 2023 we ran FatCat of the Month and heard from some cracking riders. Here's a look at four of them and what they got up to on their bikes.
Jessica, July 2023
Our very first Mrs FatCat of the Month. Jessica won it for her infectious enthusiasm and her love of adventure, which is pretty much what FatCat is all about.
Simon, Tasmania, August 2023
Simon was introduced to FatCat by his partner and was won over by the fat tyres and the price. He's since added red stickers and garter springs. When he's not out riding he's into music, Xbox and forest walks with his two sausage dogs. Riding takes him back to carefree childhood days, and that's about the best reason to own one we can think of.
Tim, Tasmania, September 2023
Tim has had his FatCat since June 2022 and has taken it on trips and tracks all over Tassie. He even carried it on the cargo rack of his Toyota Coaster camper bus. His mods include twin mini lights, a phone bar bag and garter springs (he rates them).
His advice for anyone thinking about it? Dive in headfirst. He reckons it's the most forgiving ride going, and there's a supportive community behind it.
Vicki, Western Australia, October 2023
Vicki's weekends are all about family, boating, camping and fishing, and her FatCat comes along for the lot. She rides tight tracks and steep terrain, and her very first ride included an accidental wheelie. She picked FatCat because we're an Australian supplier, and she was eyeing off a bigger sprocket and chain next. Curious about gearing? Here's our guide to the 72-tooth sprocket.

The best place to show off your ride is the FatCat Owners Group on Facebook. Share your rides, photos and mods and swap tips with other owners.
One quick note on mods: if you're changing anything on your bike, use a suitably experienced small-engine or motorcycle mechanic.
