Warranty Coverage
FatCat Mini Bikes provides a 6-month voluntary warranty from the original date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship.
This warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is not transferable.
What’s Covered
During the 6-month warranty period, FatCat will assess eligible warranty claims and, where appropriate, repair or replace defective parts or components at our discretion.
What’s Not Covered
Our voluntary warranty does not cover:
- normal wear and consumable parts
- damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidents or improper maintenance
- damage caused by incorrect assembly
- damage caused by racing or competition use
- unauthorised repairs or modifications
Engine Modifications
Any alteration or adjustment to the engine, including modifications to the governor, linkages or springs, will void the voluntary warranty applicable to the engine. This includes internal and external governor components.

This does not exclude any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Costs Under This Warranty
FatCat’s voluntary 6-month warranty covers eligible replacement parts only.
Unless otherwise agreed, labour and shipping costs associated with a claim under this voluntary warranty are the responsibility of the owner.
This does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Where FatCat is required to bear costs associated with a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law, those rights will continue to apply.
Making a Warranty Claim
All warranty claims must be authorised by FatCat Mini Bikes before any repair work is undertaken.
Please contact us with:
- your order details
- a description of the problem
- photos or video where relevant
Do not arrange repair work relating to a warranty claim before contacting us.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
The benefits of our voluntary 6-month warranty are in addition to your other rights and remedies under the law, including the Australian Consumer Law. Those rights may continue beyond the warranty period.
