Changing the intake isn't just about bolting on a new filter. The carburettor needs the right fuel mixture too.

This kit includes a pod-style filter and larger main jets to help you tune the standard carby to the new airflow. It's a popular pairing with a performance exhaust, but proper setup is essential.

Good to know

  • Fitting and test running the larger main jets is essential to avoid engine damage from lean running
  • A visual check of the spark plug tells you whether the engine is running lean, rich or OK
